Seriously, I'd consider an 8K TV for productivity use if they made it at a small enough size to get the pixel density up over 200 ppi. That requires the panel size to be 43 inches or less.

I can definitely recommend going ultrawide as the multitasking advantage is incredible, and it definitely improves productivity. Gaming on an Ultrawide heavily depends on what you actually play. IMO, if u get a high end monitor you should spend that little extra to buy a Colorimeter, like a X-rite i1 or SyderX Pro. Factory calibration 'can' be ok, but more often than not its bad, color can be out of spec, gamma curve can be wrong, and even color temperature can be way of the 6500 mark.

They are probably using Gsync anyways, which is the proper way to improve monitor responsiveness, not more FPS that your monitor cant even display.

If not just get a simple extra gpu like a gt 1030. Basically anything that supports the current nvidia drivers so you don't end up with driver conflicts. A gpu at idle doesn't consume too much power even for older ones. The 6900xt and 3090 are limited to 4 displays. Posted October 7, 2021.
