Litter Robot even replaced my bonnet (out of warranty, which was nice). I tried the "bend the plastic tabs" out suggestion, along with cleaning the metal connections that go to the bonnet LED light. Nothing worked, I'd get "bonnet removed" texts in the App like 5 times a day, and the Litter Robot would take forever to complete it's cycle ... Sometimes the robot literally stops in the middle of cycling and I’ll wake up the next morning to piss and poop all over the floor that I have to clean. It does seem to help. The bonnet errors happen when there isn’t a good connection between the metal parts. We also do a deep clean of the entire unit about once a month, and take an Emory board or stiff bristle brush to the contacts, and clean them until they’re shiny.
